About Our Club
Grass Root Social Club (“GrassRoot”) is a member’s only club entertainment center established March 10, 2011 in West Philadelphia. The Club caters to mostly the African Community dominated by Africans from West Africa including Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Nigeria. One of the main objectives of the entity is promoting unity amongst immigrants from the West African region through entertainment and social interactions.
In 2021, the management of the Club took a new dimension and introduced Restaurant services.

Member Perks !
Each member shall pay $100 membership fee annually to have the privilege to the Social Club entertainment spot which is restricted to members only. Some of the activities at the club include pool competition, playing card, domino, and chess competition among club members. New location will be announced shortly.
Members shall have discount on meals. Registered members can arrange with management to host birthday or graduation party at the Social Club for reasonable price.

Monday – Clean up (no club activity)
Tuesday – Slow Jam Nite from 7pm - 4am
Wednesday – Happy People Jam Nite from 7pm – 4am
Thursday – African Jam Nite (latest Afro Beat) 7pm – 4am
Friday – Old School Jam Nite from 7pm – 4am
Saturday – Jump Nite (African and Western Music) from 7pm – 4am
Sunday – General Music and competition finals
